The Saarland logistics region is characterized by its convenient location at the border to France and Luxembourg. New developments activities were just slightly above 10,000 sqm per year between 2008 and 2011. In the following years there was no increase with no development activities at all in 2012 and 2013. In 2014, however, 42,800 sqm of new developments were realized, decreasing to 2,500 sqm in 2015.
